Fullscreen Black Screen

Post by Artain » Sat Sep 02, 2017 3:01 pm

So, when I go to fullscreen, no matter the resolution, I get a black screen (backlight on).
Makes the game unplayable, I believe I can't even select any options.
Side note:

This is a known problem with a lot of GM based games.
(Fullscreen got broken on Windows 10 after the "creators update".)
There seem to be a workaround for this issue which i will try to implement into the final game. Haven't tested it properly though.

#Late Response

Point 1.
If the workaround can be done on the client-side without decompiling, changing the code and recompiling the game, please tell me how to do it.
Nevermind
Fixed it. Just changed everything in options.ini to 1. Yay for GMStudio actually thinking and putting the "Windows" tab from it's options in a file.

Point 2.
Yay! Progress Updates! I missed those :)

Point 3.
Nice engine. Looks good :)

Point 4.
Keep up the hard work.
